2007 Regional Livability Summit
Leading Sustainable and Equitable Development in the 21st Century
On April 19th over 200 people gathered at Portland State University for the 2007 Regional Livability Summit.
The focus of this year's Summit was on trends we see today that
influence Regional Livability twenty years into the future....and the
energy and enthusiasm of participants reflected the importance of this
work. The Summit was also graced by the powerful and moving keynote of Denis Hayes (download 7.4MB MP3 file or a transcription of his speech) and a notable panel of local leaders who offered their experience and
vision for our region.
